I’ve always said Wings fans are the best in the NHL. Sure we may all be cocky, arrogant bastards, but the passion that we have builds a camaraderie. And that’s exactly what’s happeing over at Abel to Yzerman.
Guilherme or Herm as he is affectionately known, is a huge Wings fan in Brazil. He’s also a frequent contributor over at A2Y and has his own fantastic blog at Red Wings Brasil. The only problem, he’s never seen a game live, let alone met another Red Wings fan in person. So the Chief and the amazing readers and commentators over at A2Y have started a campaign to Bring Herm to Hockeytown.
Amazing. Class all the way. Head over and donate what you can. Every little bit helps to bring Herm to Detroit. And the extras, well keeping with the proud Wings tradition of giving back to the community, will be donated to Children’s Hospital of Michigan.
