Sorry for missing out on yesterday’s links, it’s been another busy week around here. I’m hoping to stay daily with links posts, but we’ll see what happens with finals coming up soon.
- So this Tiger Woods fella is pretty good. In his first competitive round of golf in almost 5 months, Tiger posted the lowest opening round score for the Masters of his career. Was he heckled? “The people were just incredible, incredible all day,” said Tiger when asked about the crowds. Apparently he didn’t look up very much.
- Frequent readers know that Erin Andrews has always been a D4L favorite, and when some jealous ugly woman from Canada talks shit about EA, we get upset. Despite this reporter being from the land of maple syrup and grizzly bears (seriously, they have internet up there), Jimmy Traina of Hot Clicks still picked up on it and asked Erin about the article in his interview with her. - As bad as Tiger Woods’ affairs have seemed, at least his haven’t broken up a family (at least until Elin files). Former NFL RB Tiki Barber decided that his pregnant wife wasn’t cutting it, so he left her for an NBC intern. Somewhere, Steve Phillips wishes Brooke Hundley had been that hot.
- Are you concerned now that your mom/dad/grandma is on Facebook? Take advice from this kid and ignore the friend request. Nothing good can come out of mom liking pictures of you in a hot tub with a couple of hotties. [via The What, Busted Coverage]

- Don’t look now, but the Pistons have won two games in a row for the first time in what feels like forever. Still, Joe D should still do his homework for a top 5 pick, as the Pistons won’t be going that far up the standings.
- My friend David put it best when talking about last night’s NCAA hockey semifinals in Detroit: “Karma’s a bitch.” Miami, who technically lost their regional final (phantom whistles be damned), got deservedly smacked around by Boston College last night. No need for a full recap, I’d just copy and paste this anyway. Wisconsin ended RIT’s Cinderella story in the other semifinal, 8-1.
- MLB umpire Joe West isn’t happy with how long Yankees-Red Sox games are taking these days. West called it “embarrassing” that the teams don’t try to speed the game up. West has been accused of “trying to get on ESPN” with his comments, but riddle me this: aren’t those being critical of him also “trying to get on ESPN?” Kudos to West for saying what we all were thinking.
Rob’s Highlight of the Day
Joakim Noah shows some nice (sorta) handles getting to the basket and finishing with the dunk over J.J. Hickson.
