As originally reported by Deadspin, Ndamukong Suh announced his intentions this weekend to donate $2.6 million to his alma matter once he signs a pro contract. According to Huskerextra.com, “Suh announced he will donate $2 million to the Nebraska athletic department and another $600,000 to the University of Nebraska-Lincoln College of Engineering to endow a scholarship.”
As I wrote here at D4L last week, Suh is on a short list of players the Lions will select with the second overall pick in the 2010 draft.
Good to know that the ridiculous amount of money that a first round pick garners, just may be spent on something worthwhile this year.
