Friday Links – Eminem Disses Roethlisberger, Phoenix Coyotes Eulogy, Matt Millen Is a Moron, & Lots of Awesome Rabbis

I know I’ve been M.I.A. for about a week now, but I’m finally done with school as an undergrad at Michigan. Now I’m free to terrorize the interwebs for the rest of the summer. I know what you’re thinking, and Mark Cuban shares your sentiments. [via Hardwood Paroxysm, @jeskeets]

Mark Cuban F-bomb

  • Apparently Eminem isn’t a big fan of Big Ben. Mr. Mathers decided to mention Ben Roethlisberger’s late legal troubles in his new freestyle “Despicable.” You can listen to it here or just download it like everyone else in the world.
  • The always-entertaining Triple Deke was asked to write a eulogy for the Phoenix Coyotes over at Puck Daddy. Obviously, Tyler jumped all over the opportunity, and (obviously) he didn’t disappoint. Great stuff from TTD, easily the best PD article I’ve read in a long, long time.
  • If there’s one thing I hate, it’s seeing a road team celebrate on the field in the faces of my favorite team. Maybe next time they should take a hint from Barcelona after their Champions League loss against Inter. [via Deadspin]
  • Once again, Bill Simmons proves that he’s a jackass. Guyism has the details. And yes, Pete Carroll is involved.

Today’s random video and highlight after the jump…

RANDOM AWESOME VIDEO OF THE DAY

NESW Sports has an awesome retro video of Ichiro Suzuki pitching in the 1996 Japanese League All-Star game. Check out who he’s facing. And no, that’s not Rod Allen.

ROB’S LOWLIGHT OF THE DAY

I’m pretty embarrassed that I’ve missed an entire week of links posts, regardless of the fact that I was studying for exams. So to redeem myself, I figured I’d better find someone who embarrassed himself more than I did. Thankfully, Kei Kamara obliged. [via Guyism]
