Lawrence Taylor, the most dominant defensive player of his era (and perhaps NFL history), was arrested today in New York City. LT is being charged with beating and raping a 16 year old prostitute who was taken to his NYC hotel room against her will.
No jokes from me on this one, as raping a minor isn’t something I (or any other writer on this site for that matter) take lightly. I’m not sure this really gives the NFL a bad rap since LT is a former player, but it surely doesn’t add to the credibility of the league’s current and former players.
