For some reason I have way more energy than I should after getting 4 hours of sleep last night. Let’s get at it. I gotta brush my teeth first though. [via With Leather]

Today’s LeBron news: John Calipari has tweeted endlessly that he’s staying at Kentucky, while President Obama thinks LeBron would look great in Chicago red. Meanwhile, Clippers fans have decided to throw a parade for LeBron.

Thunder Treats seems to think that French soccer star Thierry Henry is headed for MLS after the World Cup. I was a bit confused by their article at first (Jeffren Suarez was the 22-year-old rookie, not 28-year-old all-world striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic) but here’s the SI link they cited. Before last night, I gave the Phoenix Suns a fighting chance in their series against the Lakers. Not anymore. Kobe Bryant went off for 40 points and the Lakers took a 1-0 lead in the series after a 128-107 win. Lakers coach Phil Jackson is 46-0 (!!!) in any series when he has a 1-0 lead. It’s over.

And the award for Badass of the Week goes to… this guy. Maybe we should name it “Steve Irwin of the Week” instead.
Today’s random video and highlight after the jump…
RANDOM AWESOME VIDEO OF THE DAY
Of all the random videos I’ve posted over the past few months, this is definitely one of the best. The only complaint I have is that they wasted such a sick beat on a commerical. [via Thunder Treats]
ROB’S HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY
If you missed last night’s Suns-Lakers game, this play shows you what kind of night LA had.
