If you got dressed like this guy (I do), you’d have way more time in your morning to enjoy the links.

- The Red Wings have good news and bad news. The bad: Goalie prospect Daniel Larsson has signed a contract with HV-71 in the Swedish Elite League (his home country), and will not be playing in the Red Wings’ system next season. The good: Mattias Ritola signed a three-year extension at a very cap-friendly price.
- I guess this Stephen Strasburg guy is pretty good. Strasburg threw his third consecutive outing in AAA ball without giving up a run. For those of you doing the math at home, that leaves his ERA right around 0.00. Not bad. Oh, and he got a standing ‘O’ on the road.
- Contradictory to what we heard earlier, Captain4lyfe Steve Yzerman is apparently still in the running for the GM job with the Tampa Bay Lightning. There are no quotes from The Captain just yet, so we’ll see which way this goes. [via Hockey Independent]
- Apparently the “Delonte West is banging LeBron’s mom” rumors aren’t over just yet. I don’t believe it, but it’s a lot better than the “Where will LeBron end up next season?” talk. [pic of giant douchebag via Detroit Bad Boys]

- We all know Craig Sager is (in)famous for his ballin’ ass suits. Midwest Sports Fans has compiled a list of 10 great moments in Sager Suit History. I don’t have too much else to say, maybe I’m just mesmerized by all the bright, tacky colors. [via Thunder Treats]
- Sharapova’s Thigh points out a true American tragedy: Megan Fox will not be in Transformers 3.
- While I’m all for employers holding their workers to high standards, this is ridiculous. Cassie Smith, a Hooters girl in Roseville, was put on probation for being out of shape… at 5’8″, 130 lbs. Umm… yeah.

ESPN’s Pierre LeBrun looks at what the San Jose Sharks have to do to dig themselves out of the 2-0 hole they’re in against the Chicago Blackhawks. He points out a lot of similarities between the ‘Hawks and the Red Wings.

Puck Daddy points out the irony in Lance Armstrong’s rant over Versus’ TV coverage. Not surprisingly, the network made a big mistake by cutting away from the end of a cycling event to their hockey pregame show. Not that cycling is the most popular of sports, but I’d rather watch that than look at Brian Engblom.
Today’s random video and highlight after the jump…
RANDOM AWESOME VIDEO OF THE DAY
Caylor found an awesome video for me just after yesterday’s links went up, but it’s been blocked to save this kid’s dignity (well, what’s left of it). Sooo… we’ll leave you with a video we can’t understand. Not that you need volume for it anyway.
ROB’S HIGHLIGHT OF THE DAY
The Phoenix Suns have had a rough couple games so far against the Lakers. Hopefully this will make them feel/play better.
