I don’t know how the world existed before people made coffee in the morning.
- The brooms were out in Boston last night, but Orlando stole one back from the Celtics, winning 96-92 in overtime to force a Game 5 back in Florida. Still, Big Baby can taste blood. Or chocolate cake. Yeah, probably that second one.
- Your NHL Stanley Cup Final matchup is set. Philadelphia beat Montreal 4-2 last night to win their series 4-1 and earn a
beatdownshot at Chicago for the title. Needless to say, the Philly fans were a bit excited.

Speaking of the Blackhawks, Chicago defenseman (and MSU product) Duncan Keith lost seven teeth (rhyme alert) during the Hawks’ series-clinching win on Sunday.

It looks like the Lions are content with keeping LB Julian Peterson around this year despite his large contract. In addition to what looks to be an uncapped year coming up, who else were they going to put there?
- Thunder Treats has the details on a group of people that stole a Big Boy statue out in California. Hopefully they decide to hold it hostage until Big Boy stops airing those commercials where the statue is voiced-over by a sex offender.
- Matt Wallace at Take 75 North looks at the Tigers’ current situation at second base. With Scott Sizemore still looking like the heir apparent despite his struggles, is Carlos Guillen a better move in the short term? I’m not completely sold, but we’ll see.
- Steve Phillips, he of impeccable judgment, says that he would trade Stephen Strasburg for Roy Oswalt, no strings attached. As mind-blowingly stupid as this idea is, it doesn’t surprise me that Phillips would think this, given his track record. [via NESW Sports]

Mgoblog has video of every snap from each of Michigan’s three quarterbacks during the spring game which, as expected, should be taken with a gigantic grain of salt.
