Most Michigan residents will snicker when the collective brainpower of the state of Ohio is mentioned. While I realize that we have more than our fair share of dumbasses here in the Mitten, Ohioans aren’t doing themselves (or their reputation) a favor after the LeBrocalypse. Cleveland Cavaliers fans have offered to help Dan Gilbert, a man worth $1.1 billion, pay his $100,000 fine he owes to the NBA. I’ll let that one sink in for a minute.
It’s a kind gesture, but really? Offering to help Gilbert pay a fine less than 0.1% of what he was willing to pay LeBron? Genius, Ohio. Genius.
