Former #2 overall pick Michael Beasley hasn’t lived up to his potential so far in his short NBA career. David Kahn of the Minnesota Timberwolves, Beasley’s new GM, thinks that the reefer might have had something to do with it.
“He’s a very young and immature kid who smoked too much marijuana [in Miami] and has told me that he’s not smoking anymore, and I told him that I would trust him as long as that was the case.”
Kahn seems to think that moving Beasley’s talents from South Beach to Minnesota will help lessen the amount of dope he smokes. You know, because there’s so much more to do up there besides sit on your couch and light up with your buddies.
Just remember Mikey, marijuana is bad for you.
