When Joe Maddon isn’t intentionally walking Miguel Cabrera or managing a first place ball club, he’s making fashion statements. The Tampa Bay Rays traveled west with these custom-made blazers, Maddon is calling bRAYSers, get it?
“The BRaysers are in, they’re fabulous, they met with everybody’s approval,” Maddon said. “We’re going to wear them on this trip – the team BRayser.”
As you can see, the bullpen pitchers liked them so much they decided to wear the bRAYSers out to the pen Tuesday night. I wouldn’t be caught dead wearing that jacket, but it looks good on them.
