NFL star and almost fantasy champion* Chad Ochocinco was fined $25,000 by the NFL today for tweeting during a pre-season game against the Philadelphia Eagles on Friday night.
Chad was obviously just trying to have some fun, but Roger Goodell and the Buzzkill Police decided to step in, fining him for both having an electronic device and tweeting during the game. (The fact that there’s actually a rule about tweeting during the game is beyond ridiculous). Naturally, Chad decided to apologize via his Twitter.
Apparently Roger Goodell is unaware of how expensive a Bugatti Veyron is. Maybe (since he reads D4L everyday and you should too) he will watch this video when he settles into his office tomorrow morning and rescind this ridiculous fine.
*The ass that picked before me in my fantasy league drafted Ochocinco right before I was ready to add him to my guaranteed-to-win-it-all squad.
