Michigan’s Tate Forcier Is “Out” After Denard Robinson’s Big Debut

Things don’t look too good for Tate Forcier at Michigan right now. Not only did he have a rough summer, he’s apparently been dropped to #3 on the QB depth chart after starting all 12 games for the Wolverines last season. When Usain Bolt Denard Robinson needed to sit out for a couple plays in the 3rd quarter, Rich Rodriguez turned to true freshman Devin Gardner instead of Forcier.

Frustrations boiled over after the game, and Tate may have given the Wolverine faithful a hint about his future.

“All you need to know is I’m out.”

His dad later contradicted that statement by saying that Tate was “150-percent” staying at Michigan. Whether or not he stays, it’s obvious not only who should start, but who Rodriguez prefers should something happen to Robinson at any point this season.
