Good news: I’ve found my Halloween costume.
- This happened on Sunday, but I don’t like too many sad stories in my links: Chicago Cubs rookie Tyler Colvin was rushed to the hospital after a piece of a broken bat punctured his chest cavity above his heart. Thankfully, Colvin is OK.
- Of all the ways I’ve heard about teams getting ready for a big game, this is by far the coolest. Oregon State is painting their practice field blue to prepare for their trip to Boise State this coming weekend. [pic via @LindsayRae19]
- Just as MSU fans are (deservedly) drinking up the Kool Aid after a big win, Michigan fans are staying a bit more cautious. Sean makes several great points as to why Wolverine fans should keep a more even keel going forward.
- I don’t mean to bash Ray Lewis (especially because those Old Spice commercials are hilarious), but his schtick of blaming every Ravens loss on the referees is getting a bit old.
- At The Production Line, Rob Discher has both an awesome name and an awesome way of making important life decisions. Aaron Downey is somehow related, but I’m not sure how.
- Apparently Keeley Hazell is British. It doesn’t really change anything (especially the hotness part), but it’s still a fun fact you should know.
- Pistons guard Rodney Stuckey recently called his team the best in the league, on paper. Not that I disagree (ok, yeah I do), but Stuckey might as well have said “on crack” instead. [via Piston Powered]
- You might remember OK Go as the band that put together that awesome treadmill music video. Well, they’re back at it again with a similar low-budget, high-success endeavor. [via Hot Clicks]
