Drew Stanton was very solid in the first half of the Lions/Bears game. For a 3rd string quarterback making just his second career start, 9-14 for 143 yards with a passing touchdown, rushing touchdown and a dougie celebration attempt is pretty damn good. All over the division leading Bears, no less.
The dougie celebration is Stanton’s lone mistake on the day, but it’s still worthy of some props. I imagine that’s his way of poo’ing all over Mike Martz and Rod Marinelli’s chests for not giving him a shot over equally, if not worse, futile quarterbacks.
