Earlier this week, Seattle’s Qwest Field was outed for their sketchy beer pricing by a couple of observant fans. Their research* showed that the two beer sizes (separated by $1.25 in price) were, in fact, the same.
Instead, we learned that the smaller beer was being served in a bigger cup than originally intended. Somehow, the fact that Qwest Field was serving 4 extra ounces of beer per cup for however long doesn’t exactly scream “losing money” to me. Maybe they should wait a little while before calling their $7.25 serving a “great deal.”
*Props to these guys for using water instead of beer. You can’t afford to spill a dollar’s worth of beer just to prove a point.
