- I meant to write more about this, but you know how life is. Anywho, Lloyd Carr will enter the College Football Hall of Fame later this week. As much as I loved him as a coach, I can’t think of a better man to receive this honor. Congrats to Coach Carr.
- After tearing the cover off of the ball for the past 2+ weeks, Victor Martinez is finally getting some love. V-Mart was named the AL Player of the Week for last week.
- Playstation Network is finally going back online after… well, I don’t know. I have an Xbox. Blythe at Guys Girl has a PS3, however, and she wonders if PSN users will ever forgive Sony for what happened.
- Speaking of games, I was a bit disappointed to read this review of L.A. Noire from Wired. While the game sounds like an awesome story with brilliant graphics, hearing that the gameplay still has something to be desired is not a good sign.
- Dutch soccer team Ajax pulled a Real Madrid and decided to drop their championship trophy off the top of the bus as well. Unlike the Spanish giants, however, it was the GOALIE who dropped the hardware this time.
- Despite all that noise we heard about Greg Monroe giving up the now-retired #10 in honor of Dennis Rodman, word is that Monroe is thinking again about this decision.
- Nightmare on Helm Street does kinda the same thing we did and looks at the Red Wings free agency outlook for next season. They take a broader approach though, so make sure to check out their thoughts as well.
- I really hope that Dilo’s story is true and that his sister actually made this cake, because it’s awesome.
- Busted Coverage wrote some words about Imogen Thomas being in trouble, but what’s that saying about a picture being worth a thousand words again? Yeah…
- SB Nation DC looks at the Atlanta Thrashers’ possible move to Winnipeg and how it will affect divisional alignment in the NHL. Does this mean Detroit might actually move to the Eastern conference? We can only hope.
