Lions QB Drew Stanton, slated to be the savior of the franchise by former GM Matt Millen, might test the waters of NFL free agency. Understandably so, the Lions fanbase is terrified that their hometown hero will not be back in Detroit next season.
“I just don’t know what we will do. There might not even be a team next year [if this happens],” said Bob P. of Bloomfield Hills.
“If he leaves, who will take his place?” wondered Grady B. of East Lansing. “I don’t know that there’s anyone else that can replace that type of production for his salary.”
Thankfully, there might be someone who is willing to take up that mantle.
