Juan Carlos Oviedo — or better known by his alias Leo Nunez, closer for the Florida Marlins — needs a new ID guy. Oviedo/Nunez admitted that he used falsified documents to sign his professional contract, and is apparently a year older than everyone thought. Does this change anything for Oviedo? I have no idea, but if I’m the Marlins I let this one slide (which they have for several months, apparently.
Of course, if Oviedo needs a new ID, I think we could get him in touch with someone and make this happen.
