“Laziest NHL Preview” is an award, right? Well either way, prepare for the Red Wings to do this to the entire NHL this season. 82-0-0-0-0-0-0-0 (how many 0’s are on this thing?), first undefeated season in NHL history.
The season opens in just over an hour when the Red Wings welcome back former assistant Paul MacLean, now the head coach of the Ottawa Senators. A few cheers for MacLean followed by an 8-0 beatdown of the Senators would be a fitting tribute, in my humble opinion.
Speaking of tributes, The Production Line and Datsyuk and Friends have awesome, spine-tingling stuff up that you should read. If baseless predictions are your game, the guys at Winging It In Motown beat me at my own game. Twice.
Oh, and Patrick Eaves won’t be doing this tonight, as he isn’t in the starting lineup.
