Well, at least one of this weekend’s Final Four games was competitive. It just wasn’t the one we all expected. Louisville gave Kentucky everything that they could handle for a good 38 minutes or so, then couldn’t finish their comeback, losing 69-61.
One predictable aspect of this game was the play of future Piston Anthony Davis (I’m still hopeful). His alley oop dunk in the first half was easily the play of the day.
With Kansas facing a double digit nine point (nice layup) deficit at halftime, it looks like we’ll all be forced into a serious moral dilemma when Kentucky faces Ohio State on Monday night. Either that, or just hope that Bourbon St. does its job tonight and none of the players on either team can make it out of bed for the next three days. Not that I’m speaking from experience or anything…
