Matthew Stafford once said that he wanted a Super Bowl ring before a wedding ring, and his girlfriend seemed cool with that, but we can’t fault Stafford, 26, for giving in and deciding to put a ring on Kelly Hall’s finger before his own.
Kelly Hall quietly announced the engagement via social media on Monday by posting a pic of the two eating Cold Stone ice cream with the caption “Don’t think I could be happier!! #icecream”. When I first read the instagram post shared on Twitter, I thought, she’s pretty excited about ice cream. Seconds later, I noticed her brother being retweeted by the Lions Free Press beat writer, David Birkett, congratulating the couple on their engagement.
