RoboCop to throw out first pitch for Tigers

To cap (cop?) off ‘RoboCop Day’ in Detroit, RoboCop himself will throw out the first pitch for the Tigers-Blue Jays game on Tuesday, June 3. A bronze-cast RoboCop statue will be unveiled in Detroit earlier in the day, a depiction of the human-robot cop from the 1987 science fiction film that took the city, and its crime, by storm.

As far as we know, RoboCop has never thrown a baseball before, and in conjunction with his bulky steel frame, it could be ugly for the cyborg cop. That said, it can’t get any worse than 50 Cent.
