The second fight between Flyweight champion Demetrious “Mighty Mouse” Johnson and John “The Magician” Dodson headlines the event at the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. Johnson carries a 21-2-1 record into the fight compared to Dodson’s 18-6-0 record. The two fought previously in January of 2013 at the United Center in Chicago, Illinois, with Johnson winning in a five-round unanimous decision, and the bout took home “Fight of the Night” honors.
Tickets to UFC 191 have steadied after having a higher asking price in the previous months. According to TiqIQ.com, UFC 191 tickets had an average price of around $750 in late-July, but fell sharply to $322.82 on August 1. There were only smaller dips and hills until now, where the current average ticket price is $239.46 with a get-in price of $63. The upcoming UFC slate is slightly more expensive on the secondary market than the next scheduled event, which is UFC 192: Daniel Cormier vs. Alexander Gustafsson. That event carries an average ticket price of $235.32 and a get-in price of $58, which should fluctuate slightly as the date of the event approaches.
