Gerbe has opted not to report to AHL Wolf Pack and will be on waivers for purposes of release. Has job awaiting in Switzerland.

I’m not a believer that guys’ should lose their roster spot due to injury so I would expect him back in that fourth line center role when he is ready to return.
Unknown when Klein was injured although if he’s nursing an injury, there’s obviously no need to rush him back while the Rangers are holding 8 defensemen. The interesting thing here is if AV puts Skjei there on his off side or gives McIlrath a shot.
Gerbe had an uphill battle to climb to win a everyday spot of the lineup to begin with, made worse by the Rangers winning the Vesey sweepstakes, being unable to beat Jooris out for a job and AV’s apparent love interest in Boo Nieves, there’s simply no fit here.
