Brandon Dubinsky has long been known for working hard and putting in his time at the gym. His hard work has paid off with a large, long-term contract with the Blue Jackets. It has also culminated into making the USA World Cup of Hockey team.
Many have been highly critical of the Dubinsky selection but if you ask me, he could be a diamond in the rough for that team. He is a jack-of-all-trades on the ice and those are the players that always seem to find a way of making an impact when needed.
The Blue Jackets gave us a behind the scenes look into what goes into a Dubinsky workout as he preps for the upcoming season and the World Cup of Hockey.
I love seeing Jody out there skating and mixing it up with everyone. I wonder if this video is as current as the time stamp suggests. I notice a couple of Jared Boll appearances in the video (editors note: Rob Mixer confirms the video was recorded last week). Nonetheless, the video is a great look into what a workout looks like for a professional hockey player.
