Marcus Mariota is NOT wearing a knee brace at practice today.

–BIG NEWs. A healthy, mobile Mariota makes the Ducks a different team in the Alamo Bowl, much more difficult to stop.

No practice report today, but Tyner and DAT had breakaway runs, Armstead put an O lineman on his back and Mariota hit C.Allen for a nice TD.

–Tyner was emerging big time over the last half of the season, and he may be a big factor in the bowl game. DAT has a knack for big plays, four long tds in the Rose and Fiesta bowls. Would be a great development for Armstead to become a more physical and aggressive player.

Chance Allen looks like the next top receiver for the Ducks, smooth, athletic, good hands. Among the reserves, he’s made the biggest impression in late-game appearances. Had a td catch in the spring game, five catches for 98 yards this year, a 19.6-yd. average, including a 23-yard td catch against Nicholls, 37-yard grab against Colorado, and a 20-yarder in the loss to Stanford.

Eagles might be healthiest team in NFL history. No 53-man roster transactions since season started. No starters limited/DNP on injury report

–Luck is one part of that, but so is conditioning, nutrition, and sports science. Nobody has better attention to detail or grasp of the complete picture than Chip Kelly.
