The Cincinnati Bengals lost star wide receiver A.J. Green early Sunday against the Buffalo Bills.
Green had a routine catch, then got whipped to the turf by Stephon Gilmore.
The play is as bad as it sounds:

Many noted the progression of the situation in Cincinnati:
Cart has come for A.J. Green to take him to locker room. Doesn't look good. #Bills

They actually are calling for the cart straight to the locker room.

The Bengals have been one of the NFL’s bigger disappointments this year, but Green has cruised right along as his usual self with 66 catches for 964 yards and four scores.
With Green out of the picture, Cincinnati’s hopes at rebounding and making the playoffs take a major hit. His absence would leave the passing attack with only Tyler Eifert as the major contributor.
If the Bengals and Green are lucky, this is a case of the whole situation looking worse than it really is. The Bengals can’t afford to go into a stretch of Baltimore-Philadelphia-Cleveland-Pittsburgh without their star wideout.
