According to Rob Dauster of College Basketball Talk, Rashad Muhammad, a junior guard for the University of Miami basketball team and younger brother of Shabazz Muhammad, has been dismissed from the team for failure to meet team expectations. No other details were given.
Muhammad was poised to begin his first year of eligibility with the Miami Hurricanes after sitting out the 2015-2016 season because of his transfer from San Jose State.
