Hawks’ Smith questionable for tonight’s game

Josh SmithWhen the San Antonio Spurs play the Atlanta Hawks in Philips Arena tonight, the Hawks may be missing their captain, Josh Smith.

Smith is questionable for tonight’s game due to a right knee sprain. He did not practice yesterday and although earlier reports claimed Smith would not play, Michael Cunningham of the Atlanta Journal Constitution says he will be a game time decision.

If Smith does not play, look for the Hawks to put a bigger lineup on the floor against the Spurs, with Jason Collins starting at center, Al Horford sliding over to power forward and Marvin Williams playing small forward.

The game tips at 6 p.m CST tonight. For more on tonight’s game, read Jeff Garcia’s Gameday Q&A with Deborah Horton of Hawks Highlights.
