No shock here – this past weekend’s UFC Fight Night: Whittaker vs Brunson did some dismal TV ratings. After the original main event of Luke Rockhold vs Ronaldo ‘Jacare’ Souza fell out, this fight card wasn’t left with much sizzle. And the ratings reflected so.
Sports TV Ratings reports that the event’s prelims averaged 650,000 (296,000 in the 18-49 age range) viewers on FS1, while the main card did a bit better – 686,000 (342,000 18-49). This is the UFC’s third-lowest rated event on FS1 this year.
