Lions quarterback Matthew Stafford and Saints defensive tackle Nick Fairley are former teammates, but you’d never know that judging by what happened during Sunday’s game.
Fairley has been known for delivering cheap shots throughout his career, and Stafford was the unlucky recipient of one in the first half of the NFC matchup.
Stafford took off running on a play, and at the end of it, while on the ground, Fairley slapped him in the face out of nowhere.

Somehow, no penalty was called on the play.
