San Antonio Spurs center Tiago Splitter sat out for the Brazilian national team with mild muscle soreness against Panama according to JuventudeRebelde.com.
Brazil did go on to win defeating Panama 84-48 but for Spurs fans and management, injuries are of a concern as Splitter, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker all play for their respective countries for pre-Olympic tournaments.
Luckily, it wasn’t anything severe but as this NBA lockout marches on and the “no-contact” rule in effect banning NBA teams from communicating with player, I’m sure the Spurs front office would like to contact Splitter to make sure he is feeling fine.
Thoughts Spurs fans? What do you have to say about the Spurs international players playing this summer?
