Argentina continues to march on at the FIBA Americas tournament remaining undefeated and led by San Antonio Spurs’ Manu Ginobili.
But as the tournament rolls on, the NBA lockout is still in effect with no end on sight and as such, players are heading overseas such as Spurs’ DeJuan Blair. However, is Ginobili heading back to his former team in Italy?
Owner of Virtus Bologna Sabatini courted Carlos Delfino to join his team during the lockout but no agreement could be reached. Sabatini went on to deny any report of of the team asking Ginobili to make a return.
Sabitini also denied the proposal made by Bologna to bring back during the NBA lockout Manu Ginobili.
Aside from Blair, other Spurs have made the move such as Danny Green, Steve Novak and Chris Quinn. Had the report been true, Ginobili would have been the first high-profile Spur to make the move.
