The FIBA Americas tournament rages on and for San Antonio Spurs fans, not only is it giving them some basketball to fill the offseason and lockout, it’s also giving them a chance to see current and future Spurs players in action.
It also gave Spurs 2011 first-round draft pick Cory Joseph a chance to speak and play against his future Spurs teammate, Tiago Splitter when Brazil defeated Canada 69-57 on day two of the tournament.
Prior to that game, Joseph spoke about Splitter and looked excited to play with him in the upcoming Spurs’ season. Joseph also went on to speak highly about Splitter’s defense, and his post game. Check it out at the 30 second point of the video below.
