Well, just when we had some good news about Dan Reeves joining the Cowboys as our official hall monitor, that is now history, and the halls at Valley Ranch will continue to be lax and out of control. I’m sorry to say this, but the offseason has barely started, and its still a circus around here. Nothing very positive has happened yet, some low level lackeys got canned, so what. This staff has been a whole charade. We had better have a decent free agency and a badass draft, or I’ll have nothing really to look forward to.
I plan on going to training camp this year, but the mood will likely be alot more intense, in the sense that everything will be under an electron microscope. The media and everyone will be tearing up every move, every rumor, and every training camp miscue that will likely pop up.
Jerry, clearly could not accept Dan Reeve’s stricter parameters thus leaving the halls out of control. We’re on a collision course for a 5-11 type season. I’m gonna say this right now, and I hope I’m dead wrong to a certain degree; but, I believe Wade will coach a few games in which he will be expected to go undefeated and dominating. Anything lower than that, and we WILL see Garrett take complete control.
However, I’m getting the sense that Jerry is seeing some attributes in Jason Garrett that could be outside what he wants in a head coach. Does Jerry see some Jimmy or Parcells in Garrett? Is this why he was given all the shots possible to move onward? Does his idea of a successful franchise mirror Jimmy and Parcells, if so, this can be a problem for Jerry, but is probably what this team needs right now. Lot’s to think about. Ofcourse, I could be speaking completely out my ass, but what are the chances of some of these guesses to be possible? I’ll let you think about it. I’m hoping for a Super Bowl run, but in February, I’m not feeling it right now, are you?
