Stephen Bowen will be a Dallas Cowboy for at least another season. Bowen signed his one year tender for $1.545. Miles Austin and Sam Hurd are the last two restricted free agents that remain unsigned at this time. April 17th is the deadline for players to sign their rfa tenders.
Looks like the Cowboys are scouting defensive ends, and for good reason. Look for the Cowboys to add a DE somewhere in the draft with possible defections after this season.
San Jose St.’s Jarron Gilbert has attracted a lot of attention over the past few weeks from NFL teams due to various pre-draft visits and workouts. The defensive end will have visited at least seven teams and will have worked out for a few others before the draft and he’s attracting interest from teams that play either a 3-4 or 4-3 defensive scheme.
Scout.com has confirmed Gilbert has visited or is scheduled to visit the Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions, New England Patriots, New Orleans Saints, Pittsburgh Steelers, San Diego Chargers, and Washington Redskins.
He has scheduled workouts for the Kansas City Chiefs and San Francisco 49ers before the draft as well.
According to league rules, all pre-draft visits must be completed by April 17. (scout.com)
