Wow. The Bulls really crapped themselves tonight. After two gutsy performances in Boston, they returned home (as 3-point favorites too) to a rowdy crowd only to fall flat on their faces. It was beautiful to watch.
Paul Pierce came out smokin'. He went 6-6 with 13 points in the first quarter as the Celtics stormed out to a 32-21 lead. He finished with 24 points on 4-8 3FG.
Rondo (20 pts, 11 reb, 6 assists, 5 stls) was spectacular and so was Big Baby (14 pts, 9 reb, 6 assists, 6 steals, 3 blks).
The defensive effort was much better. The C's forced 22 turnovers and held Chicago to 37% FG. The Bulls also missed a bunch of open shots.
How's this stat line for Derrick Rose: 9 pts, 4-14 FG, 7 TOs and -30 +/-. Bahahahaha….
The NBA was forced to beef up security because someone made threats against Tony Allen. Click here for Yahoo's story.
