Have Your Hemorrhoids Treated By Celtics Docs

In an effort to provide "added value" to certain season ticket holders, the Celtics are now pimping out the team doctors.

Here's the scoop (courtesy the Boston Herald):

Season-ticket holders will have access to all doctors at New England
Baptist – including team physician Dr. Brian McKeon, who recently
operated on Garnett’s injured knee. McKeon has also recently operated
on other players, including Tony Allen and Leon Powe.

“It’s exciting,” said McKeon of the new program. “It’s an interesting model.”

Availability of services will depend on an individual’s health insurance policy.

Nice idea, in theory. But anyone who buys season tickets hoping that Dr. McKeon will treat their tennis elbow or eczema are sorely mistaken. You'll most likely be referred to the dozens of other doctors in "the network."

At least I hope that's the case. I don't want Paul Pierce's scope pushed back a few days so McKeon can finish John's penile enhancement.
