For those of you who follow the same teams I do, the last year has been trying. The Twins fell apart, the Colts were terrible, Purdue and Minnesota were not good at football, and disappointing on the basketball court. The Blackburn Rovers are struggling to avoid relegation, the Wild have had a nearly historic collapse as they continue to flail around on the ice. But alas, a new day dawns! The Gophers are making a deep run in the NIT, the Twins will be much better this year, and the Colts will have an actual professional quarterback on the roster.
Those are the major teams, but you know what? I have a different team to get behind now. Rosenborg Ballklub! The Tippeligaen started in full force today, and they look to be very strong this season. Rosenborg made some moves during their midseason transfer window last year, but their biggest maneuver during their offseason was a return of Steffen Iverson, their former striker who has played for Tottenham and Crystal Palace. He’s 35, but he still has a gift for finding the back of the net.
