On The Menu: Pork and Curly Noodles

The problem with with ramen noodles, generally speaking, is that it’s all concentrated salty flavor in those little noodles with little substance elsewhere.  But really, in essence, they are Asian noodles. What do you usually find noodles in with Asian cuisine? Dishes with a lot of substance.

So basically, that’s what we have here. Pork ramen mixed with teriyaki to cut down on the salt and add some dimension to the depth of flavor, all added to some pork loin and vegetables. It was quite flavorful, much like ramen, but not aggressively so. Frankly, pork is my favorite meat as well, so that was a welcome addition, as were the vegetables.

Finally, a better way to enjoy ramen noodles. They even held up as leftovers.
