During his 19-year baseball career, Mariano Rivera donned just one jersey.
Sunday night, prior to the New York Giants-Dallas Cowboy contest…he wore something other than the those familiar New York Yankees pinstripes.
But it was all for a good reason.

For the record, the Giants might want to keep trotting out baseball’s all-time saves leader. Not only did they snap the Cowboys 11-game winning streak with a 10-7 victory, but they kept their playoff hopes alive.
Coincidentally, the other time Rivera was honored by the Giants was more than three years ago before they took on the Minnesota Vikings. They won that game as well.
