Nobody has turned things around under Mike Sullivan more than Kris Letang, who has come into his own as the top defenseman for the defended Cup champs. But the Pens will have to do without his services for the next “few weeks”, which figures to be at least eight games, as the Pens schedule is pretty jammed the rest of December.
Letang was hit pretty hard by some piece of shit David Backes in last night’s game, however he didn’t miss a shift, and finished with 26:23 TOI.
The hit…

Letang has been the catalyst of an otherwise inconsistent top-four Penguins defense, and replacing him next to impossible. Have to assume it’s Derrick Pouliot Time until Letang returns.
