20-year-old running back Nick Chubb will be returning to the Georgia Bulldogs football team in 2017. Chubb, the 2014 SEC freshmen of the year, suffered a season ending leg injury in 2015 that sidelined him from October 2015 until the start of the 2016 season. In 2016, Chubb led the Bulldogs with 988 yards on 207 carries and 7 touchdowns. Chubb finished the season as the number three all-time rusher in Georgia history and he will, most likely, top Todd Gurley for the number two slot in his next game.
Chubb will be joined on the 2017 team by fellow returnees Sony Michel (running back), Davin Bellamy and Lorenzo Carter (linebacker) in what promises to be an exciting start to the 2017 lineup with a loaded Georgia team behind second year head coach Kirby Smart.
Nick Chubb says he's coming back because Georgia Tech's celebration in Athens made him mad? What a damn good Dawg. Top tier Dawg, even.
