The Hankees have their panties in a wad over Big Papi being chosen to participate in the “Call Your Shot” promotion during the Home Run Derby Contest at Yankee Stadium. Apparently it is not ok with the Evil Empire to have Ortiz do something that they believe will somehow taint Babe Ruth’s “called shot” in 1932. It is one thing to say they would like a A-Rod or another Yankee to be selected but they are actively trying to stop the event from happening! The insecurity level in the Bronx continues to rise.
