• Salt Lake: There’s not much to report here as the Bees lost the game 5-1 and are now three games out of first place. Jeremy Moore (.323) and Tyson Auer (.308) had a hit each and Paul McAnulty had two hits, a single and double. Slugger Reggie Willits went 0-for-3 and is hitting .130 since his demotion to Salt Lake.
• Arkansas: Shocker, another rain out! Note to self, never move to Arkansas.
• Inland Empire: Jean Segura (.330) topped the AngelsWin.com Prospect Hotlist and then went out and went 0-for-4 on Monday night. Rian Kiniry (.357) went 2-for-3 on the night. PJ Phillips — Brandon Phillips younger brother — went 0-4 on the night as the DH and is 0-for-7 in his first two games back since the 2009 season. Reliever Mike Piazza (2.12) pitched two scoreless innings and fanned two.

• Cedar Rapids:  Catcher Carlos Ramirez homered on the night and has posted a solid  .328/.455/.525 line in 19 games in the Midwest League. Look for Ramirez to get a promotion to the Inland Empire club soon. Brandon Decker who missed three weeks in April due to an injury hit his second home run on the season. Decker clubbed 13 homers in a brief stint with Orem in 2010. The Starter Brian Diemer (3-1, 1.99) hurled six shutout innings, striking out 5 and didn’t walk a batter.
