No more Mike Malone rumours.. Just cold, hard facts. Here’s the Wojbomb (named after the reporter Adrian Wojnarowski):
Golden State's Mike Malone has reached an agreement in principle on a four-year deal to coach the Sacramento Kings, sources tell Y! Sports.

We’ve been reporting on the rumours over the last month, which included several surrounding the Los Angeles Clippers and Philadelphia 76ers. While neither came to fruition, both those sides missed out on a brilliant fundamentals coach that has helped the Warriors to change their culture from losing to winning. The most interesting part of this is that the GM for the Kings has not been hired before the head coach, although Ken Berger of CBSSports notes that ‘no candidate would object to hiring of Malone’.
After Vivek Ranadive bought the Kings from the Maloof family, he informed current team president Geoff Petrie that he would be cleaning out the front office, just like Joe Lacob and his ownership group did with the Warriors.
Malone has a coaching staff to hire now, and it’ll be interesting to see where he draws the talent from. His father, Brendan Malone, an assistant coach in the NBA is the obvious first hire, but only time will tell.
Good luck to Coach Malone, and thank you for all your hard work with the Golden State Warriors.
