It’s that time of year, Golden State Warriors fans. Time for NBA All-Star Weekend! This year, #DubNation will have a reason to watch every single night of the All-Star Weekend.

Both Stephen Curry and Harrison Barnes will represent the Warriors at several events this weekend.

Fans will see a lot of the Warriors’ franchise player, as Curry will be the captain of the Western Conference for all the All-Star festivities.

Starting off with the main event on Friday night, Barnes will appear in the BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge. Last year, Barnes started for Team Shaq in the BBVA Compass Rising Stars Challenge, and he finished with 12 points.

Barnes will play on Team Hill this year. Like many of the All-Star events, the Rising Stars Challenge is mostly for entertainment, so fans expect to see flashy plays, thunderous dunks, and a high-scoring game.

Some of Barnes’ biggest strengths are his athleticism and his explosiveness, so his talents should be well showcased at this event. Hopefully for Warriors fans, the Black Falcon will make a few appearances.

The next big event of NBA All-Star Weekend on the agenda for Warriors’ fans is the Sears Shooting Stars Competition, which is the first event of the State Farm All-Star Saturday Night events.

The Shooting Stars Competition isn’t the most exciting event out of the Saturday night events, but Warriors fans will get a chance to witness a special moment in this competition. Steph Curry will compete on a team that consists of his dad, Dell Curry, and Becky Hammon.

Obviously, Dell and Steph are known as sharpshooters. It will be great for Warriors fans to see these two compete together on the same team. Warriors fans should tune in to see the Currys out-shoot the rest of the competition.

The Warriors don’t have any representatives in the Taco Bell Skills Challenge this year, although Curry won that event in 2011.

The third event on the State Farm All-Star Saturday Night is the Foot Locker Three-Point Contest. Warriors fans should definitely tune into this event, as one of the #SplashBrothers is the favorite to win the contest.

This is Curry’s third appearance in the Three-Point Contest, and there’s a strong chance that he will win this year. Why? Because third time’s the charm, of course!

Curry came in second in the 2010 Foot Locker Three-Point Shootout, and he competed in the 2013 Foot Locker Three-Point Contest as well.

All Warriors fans know how this man can shoot, possibly better than anyone in NBA history. Curry set the NBA single-season record with 272 three-pointers last season, and he’s a 43.9 percent career three-point shooter. Hopefully for Warriors fans, Curry will ignite #HumanTorch mode and blow the competition away.

The last event on Saturday night is the Sprite Slam Dunk Contest. This is the most exciting event, besides the All-Star Game, during All-Star Weekend, so who better to represent the Warriors than the Black Falcon himself, Barnes?

He has had so many monstrous dunks so far in his NBA career. Just last season, he dunked on Ersan Ilyasova, had several dunks against the Detroit Pistons, a thunderous dunk over the San Antonio Spurs during the regular season, a reverse jam over Anthony Randolph in the playoffs, and, of course, his memorable posterization of Nikola Pekovic.

He’s also had several impressive dunks so far this season, so he will certainly put on a show in this year’s Dunk Contest.

Now, onto the main event. On Sunday, Curry will represent the Warriors and start for the Western Conference in the 2014 NBA All-Star Game. This is Curry’s first All-Star Game.

He received the most votes among backcourt players in either conference, and he received the second-most votes (1,047,281) in the West to Kevin Durant (1,396,294). Curry also became the first Warriors player to lead his position in All-Star voting since Rick Barry in 1976.

Warriors fans are certainly excited to see the face of the franchise represent them at the All-Star Game, especially after being snubbed from last year’s All-Star Game.

This All-Star Weekend will definitely be an entertaining one, especially since a Warriors player will be in almost every single event. It’s a great time to be a Warriors fan.
