Angels starter Hector Santiago pitched a solid five innings before allowing two home runs in the sixth that included a two-run shot by Rangers outfielder Alex Rios. Texas scored twice more in the seventh while the Angels offense sputtered, generating just two runs on eight hits and going 3-8 with runners in scoring position.
