The Golden State Warriors are off to a nice start in the 2014 Las Vegas Summer League under new Head Coach, Steve Kerr.

Kerr has led the Warriors to two impressive wins, the first one a 70-58 win over the Charlotte Hornets on Friday.

The second was a 74-72 win over the Phoenix Suns, thanks to a Justin Holiday offensive rebound and layup with three seconds left in the game.

The Los Angeles Lakers have played two games in this year’s Las Vegas Summer League.

The Lakers  lost to the Toronto Raptors 88-78 in their first game, and in their second game against the New Orleans Pelicans, they lost 90-73.

Against the Pelicans, Los Angeles was led by Trey Thompkins who had 18 points on 7/9 shooting.

Julius Randle, the Lakers’ first-round pick (No. 7 Overall), was not signed under contract until yesterday afternoon.

Randle had 10 points and two rebounds in his first game for the Lakers in the Summer League.

LLos Angeles players to watch for:

G – Jordan Clarkson (18.5 PPG, 3 RPG, 1.5 APG)

G – DeAndre Kane (3 PPG, 1 RPG, 3 APG)

G – Kendall Marshall (7.5 PPG, 3.5 RPG, 4.5 APG)

F – Julius Randle (10 PPG, 2 RPG, 0 APG)

A few Warriors players impressed in Saturday’s win against the Suns.

Justin Holiday had 29 points on 9/15 shooting. Justin also snatched 13 rebounds, seven of which were offensive.

Another player that impressed was Aaron Craft, who was very solid off the bench again for Golden State. Craft had 8 points on 2/3 shooting from the floor and 4/6 from the free throw line. As always Aaron Craft brought the energy on both ends.

Expected Starters:

PG: Nemanja Nedovic (13 PPG, 3 RPG, 1.5 APG)

SG: Justin Holiday (15.5 PPG, 8.5 RPG, 1 APG)

SF: Orlando Johnson (11 PPG, 4 RPG, 1.5 APG)

PF: James Michael McAdoo (8.5 PPG, 3 RPG, 1 APG)

C: Ognjen Kuzmic (3.5 PPG, 9 RPG, 0.5 APG)
